What is Glaucoma? Glaucoma is actually a group of diseases that affect the optic nerve and cells of the retina.  Increased pressure within the eye (intra-ocular pressure) is a contributing factor to glaucoma and, if left untreated, can lead to blindness.  

Current Options for Glaucoma. TR-ClarifEYE™ can now be added to the list of surgical options available for your pet.  Your veterinary ophthalmologist has several medical and surgical options to manage your pet’s glaucoma.  TR-ClarifEYE is a new surgical option introduced in July 2009 which offers an alternative to other surgical procedures, including endoscopic laser.
